I thought I had run through my WanderFinder ideas, but lately I’ve been writing some short journal entries that felt a little WanderFinder-ish. I thought I’d post a few over the next couple of weeks.

Dogs I met today at Aslin [the coffeeshop/brewery with pup cups1 and therefore a vivacious flirting scene for both dogs & their owners]
Lulu, a tiny black dog with big alien ears, held like a baby by a cute lesbian with a pixie cut. Dog wore studded collar. Owner might too.
Youngish man’s 4-month old Burmese Mountain Dog named Cowboy. He’s an attention-hound — the dog, not the man, though maybe the man too. Clearly, the dog was chosen at least in part as a flirting accessory. I think I disappointed another woman in line who was asking questions about Cowboy instead of just getting in there and petting him. Cowboy’s human told me he’d “see me around,” but he’s too young for me — early thirties at the most.
A whipped frozen treat for dogs.
What do you think of the book?
